Alternative Medicine

A gallant effort in that it is usually the first step an allopathic doctor takes on the road to holism.  This early paradigm resembles allopathic doctors in its diagnostic style and therapeutic scope except that more “natural” substitutions for crisis intervention are used.  These “complementary” doctors are quick to use IVs, Ozone, B12 shots, Myers’ Cocktail, surgery and other more progressive - but still invasive- substitutions.  While prevention is emphasized in their literature – they still attract patients often in need of crisis intervention.  Thus many of these practitioners continue to use insurance, hospitals, vaccinate children or search for their prescription pad when they have reached their limit of understanding the problem or its holistic solution.  We would not be where we are without them or this phase of evolution
