Opportunities for Volunteers

We look for volunteers with a holistic attitude who have a desire to learn one or more of the disciplines we offer. We ask for at least a year commitment - preferably longer - so that you have the opportunity to be saturated with the subject. Since 1984 there have been many volunteers who were able to apply their new knowledge to very successful private practices of their own.

To be successful as a volunteer, you should be comfortable with multitasking in many disciplines ranging from answering phones, to scheduling appointments, meeting and greeting clients in addition to the studies you have come to learn. Our offices are often very quiet and then unpredictably filled with people arriving for various events - so the positions rely heavily on “people” and organizational skills because you may be in the middle of  a task that is extremely detail oriented. Volunteers should not be squeamish about blood, urine, stool, saliva or hair samples. You will be fully trained in how to treat these samples as part of your work here. You need reliable transportation to and from the Center as well as assist with errands to the Post Office, Staples, etc.

You will work (with supervision) in the design of your own curriculum. You must be a self-directed learner who studies for intrinsic rewards first and foremost. As part of your study program you will write research papers, pass verbal exams and demonstrate a growing level of competency.

The advantages (with some restrictions) include:

  • Free limited care for several years after you leave;
  • Access to the floatation and FIR spas;
  • Reduced cost on supplements;
  • Access to the library (books, videos, papers);
  • Learning the skills to grow your own business;
  • Volunteer parties at least once or twice a year.
